Kelly is a versatile interactive and graphic designer with over 15 years of experience in website design, print design, marketing and advertising.
Kelly received an Ohio University degree in Visual Communications in 1996. Her career began in advertising at Foote Cone & Belding’s interactive group. She designed and implemented numerous websites and software interface designs for S.C. Johnson, Britannica, Snapple, Allstate, Blue Cross, 3Com, and Compaq. She continued on after a merger and was promoted to Art Director at the new company Modem Media . Poppe Tyson.
Later Kelly switched to the client side and took a job with Bank of America to work with their Investment and Corporate Banking development team. Kelly headed up designs for the BOA Corporate Banking website and designed intranet software applications, created information architecture schematics, wire frames, and conducted usability studies.
After a move to Pittsburgh, Kelly took a new job as web developer for a start-up company called Wedding Points. Her expertise involved branding, web site design, print design, and information architecture. She later headed up the web development team for Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh. In more recent years, Kelly has started her own freelance design business, visual views, representing over fifty clients. The majority of her work includes branding, print design, software interface design, and web design.
Kelly has strong capabilities in managing and maintaining relationships among designers, programmers, sales professionals, and management staff. She is versed not only in the monetizing phase of a project, but understands the technology side as well and can deliver a concise branding across all platforms of marketing and technology.
Having worked and contracted for numerous non-profits, Kelly has a good working knowledge of cost control and money saving tricks. She is very efficient and fastidious in her work and adapts well to changes in technology and clients needs.
